Privacy Policy

1. Who Processes Your Information

Rally is a system tool provided by InCosmos KK ("we," "us," or "our"), whose place of business is Osaka, Japan. With respect to the processing described in this Policy, we are the data controller.

If you have any questions about this Policy or your personal information, you can email [email protected].

2. What Information We Collect

Login identity: when you sign in with Apple or Google, we store the account identifier returned by that login method and verified by our server, to identify your account. If that login method provides a display name, we use it as your initial nickname.

Player profile: your nickname, and the gender, birth year, sport preferences, and self-rated skill level for each sport that you voluntarily provide.

Usage information: the games you start, join, leave, or cancel; the chronological order of your registrations and waitlist entries; and the cost-splitting bookkeeping records created after a game ends.

Technical logs: to protect service security and diagnose faults, our servers and network providers log access data such as request time, request path, IP address, and browser identifier.

3. About Email and Phone Number

When you sign in with Apple or Google, we request email information from them solely to confirm that the account's email has been verified. We do not save your email into Rally's account data, and we do not use it to send you email or to automatically merge it with other accounts.

The current website does not offer phone-number login, and we do not ask you for a phone number.

4. Location Information

Only after you explicitly grant permission through your browser do we obtain your current location coordinates, in order to sort nearby games and venues by distance.

These coordinates are used only for that single query and are not stored long-term together with your account. You can turn off location permission in your browser or system settings at any time; doing so only removes the convenience of distance-based sorting, and no other functionality is affected.

5. Who Can See Your Information

Your nickname, your self-rated skill level for that sport, whether you are the organizer, and your position on the waitlist are shown to users viewing that game, so that others can learn about their fellow players before registering.

Your account identifier and exact registration time are shown only to that game's organizer and already-registered members, and are not provided to visitors or users who have not registered.

Cost-splitting bookkeeping information is visible only to members of that game.

We do not sell your personal information and do not use it for advertising. The current Rally website does not integrate any third-party advertising or behavioral analytics tools.

6. Third-Party Services We Use

Login: Apple and Google provide login verification. You complete sign-in on their pages, and they return signed identity information to us; your conduct on their pages is governed by their respective privacy policies.

Maps and place search: we use Google Maps and Google Places to display maps and search for sports court locations. The search terms you enter, and (when you have granted location permission) your approximate location, are sent to that service to return results.

Network and edge protection: the website uses Cloudflare for domain resolution, transport encryption, and security protection. Your request first passes through one of Cloudflare's global edge nodes (typically the one closest to you) before being forwarded to our servers; these nodes only handle transport and protection and are not where we store account data.

Application and database hosting: the application services and database that process business logic are operated by us and deployed on servers located within Japan.

7. Where Information Is Stored and How Long It Is Kept

Your account, game, and bookkeeping data are stored in our database located in Japan; temporary data such as login sessions and rate-limiting counters are stored in a cache service on the same server and expire automatically after their validity period.

Account and game data are kept for as long as you use Rally, so that you and your fellow players can look back at past games. Server access logs are overwritten on a rolling basis under a log-rotation policy, and only the most recent records are kept.

If you access Rally from outside Japan, your request is transported via a Cloudflare edge node near you, while the account and game data itself is stored in Japan. In other words, using Rally involves cross-border transmission of data and storage of that data in Japan.

8. How We Protect Your Information

The website uses HTTPS encryption throughout. Login state is maintained through a secure cookie that is restricted to this site and cannot be read by scripts; login credentials do not appear in the URL.

We apply rate limits to login and other sensitive operations, and we set short validity periods for one-time verification data used during login. Logs do not record login credentials, authorization codes, or cookie contents.

9. What You Can Do

You can view and edit your nickname, gender, birth year, and self-rated skill level for each sport at any time on the "Me" page, and you can sign out at any time.

If you would like to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or withdraw authorization you previously granted during third-party login, you can email [email protected], and we will handle your request in accordance with applicable law after verifying your identity. Please note that, to preserve the integrity of bookkeeping for games that have already ended, deleting your account does not automatically erase cost-splitting records already generated in other users' games.

10. Minors

Rally is intended for adult users. Minors should use the service only with the consent and guidance of a guardian; if a guardian discovers that a minor has submitted personal information without consent, they can contact us at the email address above so we can address it.

11. Policy Updates

We may revise this Policy. The revised version takes effect immediately upon posting on this page, and the top of this page will show the most recent update date. For significant changes, we will provide a prominent notice within the service.
